Event Planning + Design

When you begin planning an event on a large scale it can be really overwhelming. “What rentals do I need? Who are the good caterers? What venue could host my guest list and accommodate my design goals? What even are my design goals?”

Here at The New Eclectic, it is our goal to help you create a seamless, stress free event from start to finish. Events, especially weddings, are celebrations. They shouldn’t stress you out. We will walk you through each planning step, come up with a seamless and well executed design plan, and help orchestrate an absolutely flawless event. We create an event specifically for you by getting to know you and getting to know what’s important to you. We don’t want to just be your event planners, but your friends as well!

Partial Design Planning

Maybe you feel like you can handle booking the caterer, a band, a venue, etc…but when it comes to design, you’re stumped. With partial design planning, we handle all the design aspects of your event so you don’t have to. We will send you an extensive design questionnaire that helps us get a feel for who you are and what you like. From there, we create layouts, color schemes, pull together rental picks, floral inspiration, and then present them to you in a design board. Once you approve, we book your design related vendors and go from there. With this package, we act as the primary contact for all your design related vendors and help negotiate all design related contracts. This package also includes Month Of Coordination.

Month of Coordination

With month of coordination, we step in about six weeks prior to your wedding day. At this point, we go over all your details and plans for the day. We look over rental contracts, layouts, etc. to ensure nothing has been overlooked. After our six week meeting, we become the primary contact for your vendors to ensure you can enjoy the last few weeks leading up to your event. Relax and know that we’ve got you covered! We create day of event timelines, run your rehearsal (for weddings), and on the day of, we are the first there and last to leave ensuring all is set up as planned, vendors arrive as their supposed to, and that your event runs flawlessly from start to finish. You don’t have to lift a finger.

Floral Design

This one tends to be pretty self explanatory. With our Floral Design Package, we send you an extensive questionnaire which taps into what you like, what you don’t like, styles of florals, color palettes…all the things. From there, we draw up a floral design plan and quote. We then refine it until it meets your liking, and then, voila! You have gorgeous flowers for your event.

Interior Styling

This is one of the newer services we are offering. Does your home feel like it needs a little refresh, but you don’t want to buy all new furniture or hire an interior designer? We will come into your home, evaluate what you have and what you’d like to achieve, and come up with a new design for your space using what you have + maybe a few new things too. We are all for repurposing around here. Sometimes using things you have in different ways or in different places can make a huge difference!

Design Boards

This is also a new service we are offering and I am SUPER excited about it. Maybe you have a vision, but you don’t have the budget for an event designer.. AND you have no idea how you will pull this vision off. We would love to put together a design board for you! Our design boards will give you practical ways to make your vision into reality on a budget. We will pull together color schemes, cohesive decor items, help you figure out what will work well within you space.. the works. We will give you the tools you need to make your vision into reality!
